Some of the most amazing sights on St. Barths are also some of the most difficult to get to, requiring either a boat or a strong set of legs. Stunning, but isolated, Colombier Beach can be reached via a 30-minute hike, if you know what you’re doing. Save the guesswork and hire a guide to the flora and fauna along the way. Fifteen hiking trails are available, including one leading to the enchanting Natural Pools at Grand Frond.
Also available are cultural walking tours of the capital town of Gustavia, including the Wall House Museum, which will help explain the story behind the island’s brief history as a Swedish colony.
