Located about 30 minutes outside of downtown Rochester, this living Native American cultural center tells the story of the Seneca and Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) tribes. Families can explore the arts, culture and stories of the more than 2,000 year old society. Between May and October, families can view a replica of a bark longhouse, where the Seneca people once lived. Gardens and hiking trails also allow families to become closer with Mother Earth during their visit. Dance, music and arts festivals of the Native American people often take place here and all are welcome. Families could spend an hour or two here.
