In the 19th century, the Pacific Railroad Company began constructing a line from St. Louis through present day Frisco – the name of the town actually arose from a shortened version of the St. Louis, San Francisco Railroad.

This museum explores the birth of the town from these roots to present day with exhibits in the Heritage Center, train cars and historic buildings.

10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday; 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday; closed Monday and Tuesday.

Rates

Admission is $4 for adults; $3 for senior citizens; $2 for children 5 to 11; children under 4 are free. Active duty military personnel and their families are free. You can also purchase a family ticket for $8.
