This living history museum and restoration tells the story of what life was like for the soldiers living and fighting around Lake George during the French and Indian War. Guides dressed in 18th century military uniforms lead tours, explaining the battles of the late 1700s. Younger kids enjoy watching the fife and drum processions and firing the muskets and cannons. Older kids might like to participate in an evening ghost tour. Scavenger hunts allow kids to earn a prize for finding the answers to several questions about the fort.
