The Fort Pitt Museum, located on the original site of Fort Pitt at Point State Park, houses a collection of 18th-century artifacts, life-like historical figures and interpretive exhibits. You can take a step back in time at this interactive museum and crawl into a teepee, snap a picture in period clothes or hold a makeshift wooden musket while learning about the important role the Fort played during the American Revolution and the French & Indian War. Children under 5 are free.
