At 450 feet above sea level, the highest point on Tobago, Fort King George provides a fantastic view of the bay and the capitol city of Scarborough. Built by the British in the 1780s, the buildings are all in great shape. Kids will enjoy the canons and the vendors who sell ice cream and other treats. Occasionally, there will be an art show, music and other festivities at this popular site. The grounds and sidewalks are a little uneven and not very stroller-friendly.
