The Sleeping Beauty Castle sits majestically at the entrance of Fantasyland. The castle, an architectural wonder with 22-karat gold leaf and towers soaring 77 feet into the air, is also a stage area for special events and shows.
The sweet names of the rides in Fantasyland may lull you into a false sense of safety — but some are too dark and scary for little ones. Peter Pan’s Flight takes riders on a “flying” pirate ship. Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, Pinocchio’s Daring Journey and Snow White’s Scary Adventures can frighten younger kids. You’ll also find the Mad Tea Party (the beloved tea cups), Dumbo the Flying Elephant and Ariel’s Grotto (where Ariel welcomes kids for photos) in this section of the park. And even if you’re worried that you’ll never get the Small World tune out of your head, stop by anyway. It’s a small, small price to pay for delighted children.
