The ultimate realm of make-believe, this enchanted land holds magnetic and memory-making appeal for kids of all ages. For fans of nostalgia, classic rides such as The Mad Tea Party (spinning teacups), It’s a Small World (charming indoor boat ride) and Peter Pan’s Flight (an airborne ship to Never Land) endure. Meanwhile, some other favorites have received a recent update, including a new interactive queue for The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (a journey through the Hundred-Acre-Wood in a honey pot) and a redone Regal Carrousel (a royal merry-go-round, now starring Prince Charming). For a mid-day break, watch Mickey’s PhilharMagic, an entertaining 3D Disney movie tribute, which provides plenty of laughs along with 12 minutes of air-conditioned relief.

Through 2014, the magical experience improves tenfold, with a major makeover, culminating in a “New Fantasyland.” Among the attractions are a Dumbo-inspired Storybook Circus area, featuring a doubled Dumbo ride with FASTPASS+ access and a fun-filled indoor play zone; a re-imagined mini roller coaster starring The Great Goofini and a circus-themed Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak Station, two new castles (Prince Eric’s Castle and Beast’s Castle) and an Ariel-inspired ride, Under the Sea — Journey of the Little Mermaid. Other additions include a new place to meet Disney princesses (Princess Fairytale Hall) and a new ride starring Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train).
