This expansive 80-acre park offers something for all children as the playground equipment and swings are handicap accessible and it’s a park “without boundaries.” Families will find slides, swings, a playhouse, a giant solar paneled sunflower that lights up at night, a splash pad, treeless treehouse and sports court. Walk the paved trails or have a picnic at the outdoor, covered picnic area. Fishing is also available in the lake outside Erin’s Pavilion.

Southwind Park does live up to its name, on a windy day hold on to your hats because it’s sure to be even more windy at Southwind Park.

Parking and Restrooms
Plenty of free parking is available in the parking lot and port-o-potties can be found throughout the park or restrooms can be found inside Erin’s Pavilion.
