This heritage railroad first opened in 1947 a one of the world’s first tourist railroads and morphed into an amusement park catering to families in Massachusetts, just outside of Cape Cod. The park hosts a number of themed events, including holiday trains and fall pumpkin festivals. Rides include more traditional fair rides, such as a Ferris wheel, a small roller coaster and spinning rides. The park becomes the first U.S. home to the 250-acre Thomas Land, dedicated to Thomas & Friends.
