Hike the trails, wander the beach, and admire the stunning views of the coast at Ecola State Park, which stretches along the nine miles of coastline between Seaside and Cannon beaches. You’ll see lush spruce forests, secluded coves, tide pools, and the ocean splashing against the rocks — as well as wildlife like eagles, deer, and elk if you keep your eyes open. Most of the trails offer fairly moderate hikes, but keep an eye on little ones because there are some steep drop-offs and uneven areas throughout the park. Bring a camera and a picnic lunch!
