This may be more of a fun spot for grandparents or parents to visit, as most children may not know who Bing Crosby was. But next time the movie “White Christmas” is playing; your family can say they’ve been to Bing’s house. Bing Crosby’s childhood home is located in Spokane almost directly on the Gonzaga University campus, which he attended for one year. The dorm building he lived in on campus is literally in the backyard of his childhood home so he wasn’t far from home in the slightest while attending college.
Families can walk through the first floor of the modest home and look at old Bing photos of him and his family and his albums and movies. His many awards and even his Academy Award for the movie “Going My Way,” are on display, too.
