Cranmore Mountain Resort in North Conway, New Hampshire, offers families 57 trails, nine lifts, five terrain parks and more. Take lessons if you’re a beginner, or ride the mountain coaster if you don’t want to step on the slopes. Tubing, indoor tennis, a giant swing, and children’s program are also offered. Kids ages 3 to 14 can enjoy playing with others and going on adventures with the kids’ programs, and a supervised playroom is open for little ones who are not ready for the mountain. Cranmore is open year-round and has both winter and summer activities. During the warmer months, families are invited to the mountain resort for hiking, biking, zip-lining and more.

On-mountain dining options include Meister Hut, Artist Falls Deli, Legends Grill, Zip’s Pub & Grill, Kandabar, and The Red Sled. All are open daily, except for Kandabar, which is open weekends and holidays only; Artists Falls Deli, which is open just weekends; and The Red Sled, which is open Saturdays and holidays only.
Rates
Half-day lift tickets start from $58 for adults ages 19 to 64, $47 for teens ages 13 to 18, $34 for children ages 6 to 12, and $34 for seniors ages 65 to 79. Children ages 5 and under ski for free.
Getting There
Cranmore Mountain Resort is 1.5 hours from Portland, Maine, and Portsmouth, New Hampshire. It is two hours from Manchester, New Hampshire, and three hours from Boston. Fly into Portsmouth International Airport and rent a car to get to the resort.
