Located in a former Georgian family home in Fitzgerald Park, the Cork Public Museum is dedicated to featuring Cork’s diverse heritage. Exhibits cover the town’s history, historical figures, military, politics, and craftsman, as well as an extensive archeology exhibit from the region, Egypt, and Greece.
Entrance to the museum is free.

Open Tuesday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Sunday (May to September), 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Closed on Mondays.
