This isn’t your average gun range. Instead, the Cody Firearms Experience educates visitors about the history and evolution of weapons used in the Wild West. You’ll see old firearms on display—think an 1849 Colt Pocket Pistol, 1866 Winchester and Indian Trade Musket—before having a chance to use those weapons in an indoor shooting range.
All visitors are taught proper gun safety and handling and outfitted with protective glasses and earmuffs before entering the shooting range, and a staff member supervises each guest at all times.
Restrictions
Kids as young as 8 can participate if supervised by a guardian, but we recommend this experience for age 16 and up. Alternatively, young kids can enjoy the onsite arcade shooting game (which is equal parts fun for parents!). Pregnant women and those who have consumed alcohol before visiting are not permitted to participate.
