It’s one of the best swimming beaches around, with gentle surf (enough for boarders, but not so much that a relaxing dip isn’t possible) and long stretches of sand. At low tide, toddlers and bigger tykes take over the shoreline to play (high tide waves can be more than they can handle), and family picnics are abundant on this peaceful slice of the Cape Cod National Seashore. The one downside: parking can be limited.
