This vast botanical complex opened one of the nation’s first kid-focused gardens in 1999. Open April through October, the Hershey’s Children’s Garden bustles with kids exploring a giant treehouse, ponds with koi and frogs, kid-sized sheds and hidden nooks, bins of worms and other hands-on fun. Don’™t miss the Glasshouse with 50 types of butterflies, birds, reptiles and amphibians that roam its desert of Madagascar and rainforest of Costa Rica. Look for daily chameleon feedings and butterfly releases.
