Chatham just wouldn’t be Chatham without the Chatham Lighthouse, and no trip to this quiet Cape Cod town would be complete without a trip to such an integral community landmark.
Chatham Lighthouse Beach is excellent; expansive, wide open and perfect for walking and photo opportunities. There are no crazy roller coasters or wild bungee jumping platforms, but the views from the lighthouse and beach are simply spectacular. Kids (and adults!) love the view from the coin-operated viewing scopes, and on certain days they can be used to get an up close and personal look at the seals, which crowd around the sand bar and nearby rocks!
