Plan an informative family visit to the wetlands visitor center at this national wildlife refuge for a fun learning experience. Caddo Lake National Wildlife Refuge is one of only 26 sites in the U.S. to be recognized as a “Wetlands of International Significance.”

The 6-mile car tour route through the refuge is an easy way to take in the sights. And if you have your own bicycles in tow, there are miles of paved roads to explore. Hikers can lace up their boot for miles of trails, too.
