This small, free museum offers a behind-the-scenes look at the workings of SF’s famous cable cars. From the museum deck, you can see the engines and massive wheels that pull the cables used by the cable cars. Also on display are three antique cable cars, and some interesting historical exhibits. Of course, you should ride a cable car to complete the experience.
