The new Butterfly Wonderland is the first in a future 35-acre fun area called Odysea in the Desert that will feature the area’s largest aquarium. The 10,000-square-foot pavilion makes it the country’s largest and includes a Butterfly Emergence Gallery, a Conservatory, a Honey Bee Extravaganza, a 3D Theater, and Rivers of the Amazon Aquatic Life and a Live Ant Colony. The pavilion is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Children under 2 are free. There is also a small cafe with sandwiches, wraps and salads, when hungry, tired tots need a break from chasing butterflies.
