In recent years, downtown Bradenton has steadily upped its friendliness quotient with the development of this 1.5-mile paved, ADA-accessible path along the Manatee River. Its most popular components for families include the Family Fun Zone — an ultra-cool playground with an interactive fountain — and a skate park.
Along the way, pedestrians and bikers also come across a kayak launch, a fishing pier, educational tidal discovery zones, an amphitheater and festival space, lawns, volleyball courts, and outdoor living spaces.
