The Botanical Garden of the Ozarks is home to 12 themed gardens that will have families roaming for hours. Kids especially will love the Children’s Garden, where they can look for fairies, climb into the treehouse, pretend to the ride the stone train or play in the adjacent sandbox. They’ll also love trying to capture the attention of a butterfly in the Butterfly House & Pavilion. Other gardens include: sensory, rock and water, shade, four seasons, Ozark native, vegetable and herb, Japanese, rose and perennial, Founder’s, butterfly, and entry.

Open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

$7 for adults; $4 for children ages 5 to 12; free for children ages 4 and younger
