Considered the top zoo on the European continent, the Berlin Zoo and Aquarium is renowned for its interactive exhibits and refreshing access to cuddly critters from panda and polar bears to penguins and tiger cubs. Although the exhibits are amazingly spacious for the animals, the zoo’s layout is such that parents and children are not exhausted by walking or riding via tram from one kingdom to the next. Night tours by torchlight are offered on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month.
