Thrill seekers, look no farther. The zipline tours at Berkshire East are all about the getting the adrenaline pumping. Kids as young as 8 years old can swing from the trees in the introductory tour, which features four zips and take about an hour to complete. If that whets your appetite, you can graduate to the three-hour mountain top tour, with seven ziplines. For the ultimate rush, the “extreme” zip tour features only two ziplines, but each one is more than half a mile long and over 100 feet in the air. Riders reach exhilarating speeds of 50 mph on the way down. Kids must be 12 to partake.
