Baby Beach, with its golden sand and shallow Pacific Ocean waters, is where many locals with young families often visit in Lahaina. The beach features an offshore reef, which creates shallow and calm waters at all times. Kids can walk out quite far into the water and remain safe from large waves or deep water. However, there are large reef rocks in the waters so while it makes for good snorkeling, swimming isn’t ideal. The water is clear enough to see below and avoid the reef (the coral rocks can be painful if kids rub or scrape into them.) Definitely avoid the reef rocks but enjoy the calm waters and the amazing views of the islands of Lanai and Molokai directly in front of you.
