We stayed two days here in an oceanview room. It was lovely to step out on the balcony and watch the waves and the ships. There is a shuttle to the downtown area which picks up at the front door Or one could walk the short mile in pleasant weather. No need to look for a place to park in the rather crowded downtown area. The shuttle route also includes Acadia National Park. The staff was always friendly and helpful. We were impressed by the cleanliness of the entire area. There is a large pool which looked very clean and a fitness room overlooking the pool. When the temperature in the fitness room approached 80 and we could not find an adjustment, the front desk clerk sent a maintenance person immediately to check it out. Breakfast was pretty standard and always fresh plus there is an onsight restaurant which we did not try.

This property was very nicely maintained and offered the most amazing views of the ocean. Directly across the street from the mountains and Acadia National Park. Great location overall. Many restaurants nearby. The best thing about his hotel is that we arrived November 1 when season was pretty much closed and this place was open unlike many other places to stay and very busy. Nice clean rooms and very friendly staff. The breakfast was very good as well. I would stay here again.
