This small and modern hotel is situated in absolutely the ideal place for those visiting Cusco for a few days or on a stopover to Machu Picchu. It is literally a 5-8 minute walk to Plaza de Armas (the historical centre of Cusco) and an even shorter walk to Qoricancha, the must-see Inca temple. An ATM machine is next door, and an excellent cafe across the street.
The independent hotel has a small but dedicated staff who man the front desk and provide a generous breakfast. But the nicest thing about the hotel are its spacious rooms (I visited 4 rooms and all were of equally high standard). Spacious and comfortable, and with more character than that of the typical hotel chains. One downside is that most rooms do not open to the outside but to internal spaces that provide daylight but no views. That actually does not matter because the outside view would only have been of the main road or of neighbouring buildings.
