Ashton Inn & Suites
1) There are roaches in our room.
2) The room phone isn't hooked up.
3) The desk clerk told Amy to disconnect the smoke detector when she called (using her cell phone) to ask about the random alarm.
4)Pay more and stay somewhere else.

This hotel is comparable to The Shining. The hotel staff clearly does not know how to operate. The overnight staff was argumentative and rude. The room was never cleaned while we stayed there. Although, there was a note on the desk to tell us that they count just how many towels they have and will be charged upon stealing any. I don't know why anyone would want any. They are starched so bad they practically cut you...and blankets? They is a sheet on the bed. That is it! No comforter, no thin blanket, a sheet. Where are the blankets??? It gets cool at night and we froze the ONE night we stayed. The keys didn't work after about 4 hours. Having worked in the hotel industry for many years; the hotel should be ashamed that it operates as poorly as it does. If it wasn't for the convenience of where it is, I highly doubt many would stay. We will never stay here again nor recommend it to anyone we know!
