Parents will love the retro 70s look of the Ashland Hills Hotel. It stands out as one of the most beautifully decorated hotels in town. Beyond that, it offers a unique stay on a meandering 14 acres, with spacious rooms and suites that let a family spread out and relax. Choose a family suite, which has two queens and a king, and be sure to ask for a balcony with mountain views.
Kids will love the outdoor pool and tennis courts. The hotel also offers bikes for rent ($10 per day). The free hot breakfast buffet includes items like pancakes, eggs, and bacon.
The only drawback to this hotel is its location, three miles from the Shakespeare Festival. However, it’s a short drive, and downtown parking is reasonable. Overall, it’s a fun hotel with a number of luxuries for a budget price. Other amenities include free Wi-Fi, microwaves, refrigerators, a fitness center, laundry facilities, and an onsite restaurant.

Stayed one night, at check in we encountered a cranky staff member, seemed we were bothering her. Her attitude was less than charming throughout our stay, asked about shuttle and she seemed put out to explain, then next morning same grouchy tone when I asked where the breakfast was. Tile floor/grout had mold, usually I would ask for a different room or check out but it was already late when we used the bathroom. Towels were sand paper, I would say it is a small step above Motel 6 as far as room goes, lobby was nice, grounds were big. mattress was lumpy. We paid about $120, Sat night off season,I will stay at a different hotel next time. So many choices, it is also far from town and shuttle is Uber priced.

Meticulously maintained and a beautiful property. Happy to recommend them to people.....great breakfast too. Convenient location a block off I-5. Large retro style rooms and lots of them! A great excuse to visit Ashland, Oregon!
