2 weeks we stayed at Arta nadi villa. We came especially for the peace and relaxation and that we have certainly found here, in this nice relaxed place overlooking rice fields and mountains. Sidemen is a lush green, rustic and still quite authentic village, where day to day Balinese life is visible in the fields outside, and in the village. Arts and crafts such as Ikat and Songket weaving are highly regarded.
The spacious room in Arta Nadi Villa and the private terrace with a Balinese-style roof make you feel at home and at ease. The bathroom has its own unique atmosphere, half open above a wall of beautiful large rough natural stones.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. In the restaurant you can eat an affordable and tasty Balinese meal or even a spaghetti carbonara. For breakfast you have a varied choice, and always with delicious fresh fruit.
A day trip to Klungkung or Candidasa is easy to arrange. Gede drives you there with his car. He shows you the nice, interesting places in the area, from Ikat Weaving to the hot water source and from tempels to Luwak coffee plantation. But an afternoon at the beautiful pool, with a fresh fruit juice from the kitchen of Arti nadi villa is also very nice and on the terrain there is also a room where you can get a relaxing massage.

We stayed here almost at the end of our Bali trip for 3 nights. This place was a great find & a brilliant spot to switch off. The accommodation was small bungalow type rooms which actually didn't have floor to ceiling walls so the mosquito nets over beds were much appreciated. A gorgeous infinity pool over looking the non tourist rice fields was the best place to have beer & chill out. We used a local guide who took us on an early morning 2 hour walk through Sidemen & the fields, ask the front desk to arrange this, was well worth it. Sidemen itself is only really a small town & about 5 min walk from Arta Nadi is a strip of warungs where if like us you'll enjoy the craic with other guests more than the food but it was all good. Definitely would make a plan to visit Sidemen if in Bali & would recommend Arta Nadi Villa
