The hotel was great from price. Staff was SUPER! So kind and helpful. Like being at home. They were truly wonderful! Room was good, place is QUIET!
Not the best area of town but not bad either. Right across from San Pedro market.

Nice Hotel on a Budget

I stayed one night at the Antares Mystic Hotel. Overall, the stay was very good. The room was clean, comfortable, and nice hot water in the shower. The hotel personnel are helpful with a map, suggestions for activities, and negotiating taxi service. The San Pedro market is across the street for wonderful shopping and food options. Take a walk through the street market, too. Very colorful and interesting! The only drawback is it’s a bit noisy when others are leaving for early tours. That was a minor annoyance - I would still return for another stay.
