A luxurious resort that presents a tranquil architectural design uniquely
complimenting the natural Caribbean landscape that surrounds it, Anse
Chastanet is the it hotel du jour. Although the resort offers
accommodations for children 10 and up, those younger than 10 are not
permitted, making this resort family-friendly to only those with tweens and
teens.
If your family qualifies, then enjoy a number of unique room layouts
available, some without a fourth wall overlooking St. Lucia’s Piton
Mountains. In an effort to be in harmony with nature, rooms do not have
air-conditioning, televisions or clocks. Anse has onsite organic farms where
they grow their own food. They serve it in their four restaurants, one a
tree house and one offering Indian cuisine. Families have access to water
sports, such as snorkeling and sailing, and two beaches, one of which is a
five-minute complimentary boat ride away from the resort. Anse features
beginner classes in kayaking, jungle biking programs, and complimentary
nature walk tours.

We stayed at Anse Chastanet for 2 weeks (12 days Anse Chastanet, 2 days Jade Mountain) for our honeymoon in September and it was without doubt the most epic holiday we've ever had - or likely will ever have!
St Lucia is such a beautiful island where you are truly welcomed. Anse Chastanet is stunning - so bright, colourful, tropical -and as we went in September / October, it never felt too busy and always very chilled out. The main standout for us was the friendliness of every single person we met who worked at Anse Chastanet. They were so welcoming and helpful.
Some of our highlights include:
Food and drink wise, you can't fault Anse Chastanet. The food was delicious - the vegan restaurant was great and i loved that so many of the fruit and vegetables used in the cooking were from Emerald Farm. It was nice to have some lighter options. We would bounce around between the main restaurants each day and you quickly become regulars at the beach bar and main bar, getting to know some of the lovely team including Jeanmeal, Dave and Claude. A special mention for the breakfasts - they are amazing! You're sat in what feels like a giant treehouse, eating delicoius banana bread and coconut bread, with so much choice. Again everyone looked after us so well - Marilyn, Vanessa, Elicher, Claude.
Jazzy sunset boat cruise. We lucked out and saw an epic sunsent and lots of dolphins. The team working on the boat were brilliant too. Worth every penny!
Emerald Farm tour. We did a farm tour and the bean to bar one. Matthew and Martin were both brilliant as they lead different tours for us. I absolutely loved Emerald Farm -it is so beautiful and brilliant to see how it's so integrated into Anse Chastanet and Jade Mountain.
Rum tasting with Yannick. We had a private rum tasting and it was absolutely brilliant - Yannick is a total legend. So friendly, knowledgeable, and we had such a fun few hours with him. It was all set on Anse Mamin (the most beautiful backdrop) so all in all, an absolute highlight for Tim and I.
Cocktails on the beach. This one is obvious, but nothing beats having a Coco Loco or Piton beer whilst watching the sunset. The team looked after us so well every single day including Sylvia, Abo - i've forgetten so many names now :(
Staying at Jade Mountain for our last 2 nights. Our 'sanctuary' was absolutely stunning, like nothing we've experienced before, and the team who looked after us were so accomodating. I'm so thrilled we got to experience staying at Jade Mountain as it's incredible!
All the staff at Anse Chastanet were SO helpful (Obam, Kerissa, and so so many more, plus everyone i've already mentioned). Thank you for looking after us so well and giving us a trip of an absolute lifetime. We'll never forget it, and i'm trying to convince Tim to let us come back for an anniversary.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Anse Chastenet. Upon arrival, we were greeted with cold mint-scented towels and a complimentary signature drink, and immediately were upgraded to a beautiful beachside villa.
The staff were so friendly, professional, and obliging. Tasha assisted us with check-in and was fantastic, and throughout our entire stay Obed, who was at the concierge desk, was so engaging and fun. Housekeeping was quick and quiet, and routinely left small cards on the bed about the resort and the area.
The food was impeccable, with many delicious options for my husband, who eats meat, and myself, a vegetarian. I got the broccoli tempura every night, and he loved the quail. Breakfast had many great options, as well as a buffet bar with pastries, muffins, fruit, meats, and juices.
Throughout the day, the shaded cabanas on the beach are easily accessible and you are left completely alone unless you request something by placing the yellow flag in the sand. Beachside service was quick and the staff were always so polite and helpful.
Our room was air conditioned, and WiFi, although it could be spotty in places, was available everywhere throughout the resort.
The snorkeling was amazing—we snorkeled almost every day and saw a great variety of fish, including lion fish, squid, trunkfish, and trumpetfish.
We highly, highly recommend Anse Chastenet whether you are looking for an ideal location for a romantic honeymoon or a fantastic option for a quiet getaway, this is it.
