We stayed here with a large group of teenagers with EF Tours, and the staff was very decent to us.
The lobby, rooms, and dining area are clean and appealing, and the hotel was a very convenient location for us. We walked to the train station to visit Machu Picchu and basically walked everywhere easily in Aguas Calientes during our one-night stay.
Unfortunately, the room was extremely cold; it took a hoodie and leggings, and a couple layers of blankets to fall asleep and stay asleep. The other issue is the noise, which carries and echoes in the halls and rooms. I'm fairly sure our neighbors could hear every word we were saying!
This is a nice place, though slightly flawed.

We stayed here after a 3 day trek and was not after luxury just a hot shower and warm room. The room was freezing and the shower was stone cold. Apparently they were moving the next day, however they shouldn’t be open for business if they cannot provide at least a warm shower and extra blankets.
I reported shower but nothing done and they did not bring up the extra blankets as promised. No heaters too which is ridiculous given how cold it gets there. Did not get a wink of sleep. Avoid if trekking I had more sleep in my tent on the Lares trek!
