The facilities and especially the team in the hotel are absolutely accommodating and made my stay very enjoyable. Was there with customers, so had to focus on them 100%, and the staff helped me to able to fully entertain them.

The Andaz Resort is simply perfection. From the moment we arrived, the bellman, Eric, greeted us as family and welcomed us with open arms. We were traveling with our toddler son and Eric captivated his attention and continued to greet him by name and make him laugh each time we saw him throughout our stay.
Check-in was a breeze and very thorough. We were greeted with cold towels and welcome drinks while we got an insightful overview of the property, restaurants, amenities etc.
Rooms are very thoughtfully designed and perfect to feel as though you are in the middle of nature. We had several monkeys playing in the trees outside our room on several occasions. There is a beautiful open air balcony overlooking the resort. It is very kid friendly and I felt secure with my 16 month old playing out here. Showers are luxurious.
The kids club is a highlight for those that have young children. So many toys, and fun, organized activities for the little ones. It is very clean and well run. The staff was amazing and I wouldn’t hesitate to leave my kiddo there with them for babysitting (though we didn’t utilize this service).
For restaurants, we enjoyed Rio Bhongo on several occasions for breakfast and dinner. The food was outstanding (I recommend the chicken stuffed with cheese and bacon for dinner). The service was incredible and they ensured our young son was fed quickly and had everything he needed. Seek out Carlos if you have young kids, as he is great with children, making funny animal noises and otherwise making them feel special.
Lastly, the Beach House is the highlight of this resort. Just a short 5 minute boat ride or 10 minute ride in the van/ golf cart. Much easier to access by boat. The food is great - try the fish tacos - and drinks are even better. There are day beds on the beach to enjoy your food/drinks and relax. Plenty of shade so little ones can play in the sand. Beach is serene.
I cannot wait to return on a future visit!
