The foyer and breakfast room are very charming. The hotel room has seen better days, as evidenced by the gold fixtures in the bathroom. There are a few nicks in the furniture and wrinkles in the rug, but the price reflects it. The staff was exceptional! We requested extra coffee and pillows and they were promptly sent up. Then we discovered the coffee maker didn’t work and they brought us a different one. Jonathan at the front desk was very friendly too. I was also impressed with the woman in the breakfast room. She looked so professional in a black skirt and black and white shirt and was working hard to keep everything ship shape. There were even fresh flowers on every table! So bottom line, it could use some TLC in some respects, but what you expect for the price. My main concern is cleanliness and it was clean.

My husband and I stayed here for a night when we came to see a local band perform in the area. The hotel is pretty decent - fairly clean rooms, centrally located, and polite staff. We had to change rooms because the ceiling light kept flickering and wouldn't turn off all the way, and the shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a couple of days, so the staff promptly moved us to a nicer room.
