Kids will love staying at the Amilla Fushi Family Resort. They’ll encounter sea turtles, rays, baby sharks, and brightly colored schools of tropical fish in the calm lagoon waters surrounding the island. Once they tire of swimming in the ocean, they can splash in the enormous freshwater swimming pool. There’s also a dedicated kids’ club, playground, and game room at the resort. A variety of room options are available, including treehouse accommodations. Families usually opt to stay in the spacious two or four-bedroom villas. The villas sleep as many as seven guests and feature air-conditioning, flat screen televisions, sundecks, a private pool, and jaw dropping views. An onsite restaurant serves a variety of international cuisines.

We went to Amilla Fushi in Aug. 2019. The headline for this review is Sheer Bliss!
Lets start with Why we chose Amilla Fushi, the booking process, and pricing.
We chose Amilla Fushi largely on their reviews and the fact that they have a fully VEGAN menu! This is was huge for us considering how hard it is to find Vegan food while traveling. I will talk more about the food shortly. The booking process was super easy and pricing was absolutely reasonable (I did not say inexpensive). We booked though Booking.com and then started receiving email communication from Amilla asking questions about food, objectives for our vacation, interests, information on packages, etc.
The communication with Amilla Fushi leading up to our trip was flawless.
Travel to the resort was easy. When we landed there was someone there to collect us and take us to the hotel we booked for the night before we traveled to Amilla. When we arrived for the Sea Plane trip to the resort the lounge was nice, had coffee and snacks, and great people.
Upon arrival we were greeted at the dock and whisked away to our over the water villa. The room was amazing. Totally clean. Champaign and Chocolates sitting on the table and the view from the pool sucked us in. Our private butler explained how everything worked and was always available for questions whenever we had them. At times it felt like he could actually anticipate our questions before we even had them.
We were provided bikes so that we could ride around the island, though for the first few days we walked everywhere just to take it easy.
The spa was amazing and we did purchase a spa package once we arrived on the island. We were not sure we wanted to do the spa every single day, and they suggested that we purchase one spa package and we could alternate days. This was a great recommendation. I have never been anywhere that was that willing to customize the experience.
We are both divers and this was another primary reason for our vacation to Amilla. The diving was awesome!. We did two day dives and a night dive. It was incredible seeing manta rays and all the other wildlife right there in front of us. My girlfriend did her 100th diver while on this trip and it was definitely one of her most memorable.
The food. We were their off season and that is the way we love to travel. Less people was great. Off season they only have some of the restaurants open each day, however this worked perfectly. They communicated extremely well what was open and if we did not make a reservation they would follow up with us.
We had a couple of mishaps at the restaurants, long waits for desert for example, however they were absolutely on top of it. In once case they comped the desert and since we wanted to head back to the room they had it delivered to us. In another case we were not really unhappy, but because the manager felt that he had made us wait, the next night they setup a beautiful table and reservation time for us overlooking the sunset just to make sure we had the Amilla Fushi experience.
The vegan menu was great. We tried just about everything and there was nothing bad on the whole menu. As I understand it they were bringing in a Chef from Europe this fall to completely revamp the menu and I am sure it is next level now!
The service was second to none.
The location was second to none.
The communication was second to none.
The price was reasonable.
We would absolutely come back here In the future.

It was just so wonderful for all. All the staffs were not just friendly, they had very peaceful love warm spirits. Our concierge arranged a fantastic surprise 60th birthday for my husband. We were moved for their hospitalities. We also enjoyed beautiful ocean. We could jump in the sparkling ocean from our room and could see so many tropical fish. In the evening we enjoyed sunset in the pool on the deck. You ride bicycles to the restaurants and other spot on the Island. Diving and dolphin watching jet ski were also fun. Unforgettable place. I strongly recommend for couples.
