Located on the main thoroughfare in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, the AmericInn is near several shopping outlets. It’s also only a short drive to the beach and boardwalk.

Situated between Dewey Beach and Lewes, Delaware, the AmericInn offers families spacious suites and an indoor pool. The welcoming lobby has a fireplace as its centerpiece and families can sit at the lobby tables while enjoying their complimentary breakfast.

All of the suites feature a mini-fridge, microwave, coffeemaker and bathtubs in the bathrooms. Cribs or rollaway beds are not available to guests and there are no connecting rooms.

Sleeper Sofa Suites
Theses suites feature a king, one queen or two queen beds and a sleeper sofa in the separate living area. The bathroom features a bathtub.

Grand Whirlpool Suites
The large grand suites feature a fireplace and whirlpool tub in the bedroom area, which features a king-size bed. The bathroom includes a bathtub, but there is no sleeper sofa in the grand suites.

Fireplace Suites
These suites feature a king bed, which overlooks a fireplace. There is a sleeper sofa in a separate living room area, but no whirlpool tub.

Pool
The medium-size indoor pool, which has a depth between 3 and 5 feet, is open to guests, along with the public for an open swim for a $7 fee. The pool is free to guests. There is a hot tub and pool towels are provided to hotel guests only. There are several lounge chairs and tables with chairs surrounding the pool deck. The pool is open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Beach
Rehoboth Beach and boardwalk are a short drive away from the AmericInn -- the beach is about 2.5 from the hotel. There isn't a shuttle, however, a bus that makes a stop at the beach is located next door to the hotel.

Breakfast
Families can enjoy a complimentary, hot breakfast in the breakfast area that is situated in the lobby. The buffet, available from 6 to 10 a.m., includes items like eggs, sausage, oatmeal and cereal, and guests can enjoy their meal while sitting in front of the lobby fireplace. Coffee and tea are also available in the lobby 24/7.

Dogs are welcome at the hotel with a non-refundable fee of $20 per night and there is a maximum of three dogs per room.

The Art of Smart Timing
Rehoboth Beach is mostly a beach destination, however, because AmericInn is located closer to the outlet shopping district, it hosts guests throughout the year. The busiest season is during the summer months.

Getting There
Rehoboth Beach is located about one hour south of Dover, Delaware and about 10 minutes north of Dewey Beach. The Salisbury-Ocean City Wicomico Regional Airport, located in Maryland, is about an hour from Rehoboth Beach and offers connecting flights from Philadelphia or Baltimore. Philadelphia International Airport and Baltimore-Washington International Airport are both about two and half hours away from Rehoboth Beach.

Getting Around
Families will need a car to venture to restaurants, the beach or boardwalk and the outlet shopping. Everything is only a few minutes' drive away, but walking is less of an option as the AmericInn is located immediately off the main thoroughfare, Coastal Highway.
