These villas are a lot less expensive than most in the area - so I was pleasantly surprised !
The location is PERFECT!
Smack bang in the middle of the action - but yet no noise from your villa! So nice getting home from a day out in stinky seminyak to the peacefullness of ur sanctuary (and jumping in ur pool!).
Every staff member we came across were exceptional.
The one bedroom villa is so much bigger than most i've stayed. Usually the pools are tiny. Not these! they are a decent size with a lovely water feature.
The bathroom is big - and the entire villa is just lovely.
Just don't expect brand new and shiny. theres plenty of that bali mould around the pavers etc. u get that everywhere.
The bed was SO comfy and big. the sheets and towels were great and i'm fussy!
another bonus was the big beautiful common pool and bar! most other villa compounds don't have this! our own pool was nice and private - but its sometimes nice to mingle with a drink at the big one.
So the food at the restaurant (which is also room service) was pretty crap sorry to say. But its handy if u just want a sandwich delivered to ur room or whatever.
The only negative (and its a big one which i'm comunicating with the hotel direct about) is the kitchens and bathrooms are actually filthy. :(
I took a small bottle of disinfectant and did the bath etc myself just for peace of mind.
As for the kitchen. don't look in the cupboards - yuk. And this is where they cook ur breakfast and wash up. As a result of improper washing - the crockery and cutlery smell like egg.
This turned us off our brekky so we ate out every day.
If ur not fussy - the american brekky is quite generous and good, but basic.
just remember how good the price is! and maybe if the cleanliness isn't good when you check in ask them to do it again.

Really can’t fault the staff here at the Amasya Villas, staying here for 11 nights before we go to the northern side of the island for 9 further nights (reviews to follow)
Very very friendly, nothing too much trouble and will always go the extra mile when needed!
Breakfast is superb, cooking in your villa and exactly how you want it. Stayed in villa 18 near the pool and bar, quiet most nights though. The private pool is beyond amazing! Faultless really.
