Overview

The Rustler originally opened for skiers in 1947, but has grown and developed into a large resort over the years. The most recent addition was completed in 2013, bringing the total room count to 85, with room options that can sleep up to six. With an outdoor heated pool, spa and two hot tubs — one indoor and one outdoor — Rustler knows how to pamper adults and kids after a day on the slopes. During the winter holiday periods, there’s a complimentary organized children’s program. Details vary each season, so double check on ages and dates. For a balcony, ask for the Wasatch rooms. Daily room rates include breakfast and dinner in the Rustler Dining Room, as well as a nice tea table late each afternoon. Guest laundry facilities are available onsite and the complimentary shuttle will take guests to and from Alta and Snowbird Ski Resorts.

I stayed at ARL for 6 nights last February for a ski camp. i shared a double room in the older side of the lodge.
The hotel is well appointed, comfortable and service staff is beyond expectations. They have a breakfast/dinner included that is delicious.
I used spa services and my treatment was also excellent.
Wifi works fast
Room is clean and comfortable
2 hot tubs that can get a little crowded sometimes but fun.
Ski in and out.

This lodge is as much the experience as the skiing. Food is first class. While the furnishings are rustic as appose to plush, the services and amenities make up for it. If you like eating, this is your place.
