Alta Crystal Resort is located just 10 minutes from Crystal Mountain skiing and gondola rides, making a great base to explore Sunrise and Crystal Mountain. The charming little resort teems with amenities for family-friendly fun, including a heated pool, hot tub; a separate recreation lodge with foosball, Ping-Pong, and board games; and year-round bonfires with S’mores at the outdoor fire pit. Winter brings activities such as snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and snow play.
The resort offers 24 comfortable suite-style rooms with fully equipped kitchenettes, dining tables, living rooms, satellite televisions, and fireplaces. Families with kids under 12 will find the cozy one-bedroom chalet suite roomy enough, while families with teens will appreciate the loft chalet suite with a second loft bedroom, two bathrooms, and sleeper sofa in the living room. The resort also offers nightly activities according to the season, such as movie nights, barbecues, and presentations on Mt. Rainier. There’s also a small onsite grocery and gift shop that carries the essentials, including cereal, milk, muffins, chicken, rice, and salad.
