Starwood Hotels unveiled its first Aloft property at the Portland Airport. If you arrive late or have to catch an early flight, this is the perfect place to spend the night. Rooms feature loft-like, 9-foot ceilings, large windows, comfortable beds and spacious walk-in showers. The hotel also has a pool, a 24-hour grab-and-go food station called “re:fuel” and a fleet of bikes to take for a spin.

Pros: The property has very friendly associates. There is a dog mascot at the front desk that is loveable. Hotel has a free airport shuttle that runs as requested
Cons: Hotel is not well sound insulated. Since it is so close to the airport, plan to be up all night hearing planes take-off!

This was my first experience with Aloft and it was a big hit..very sleek, modern and clean I could find nothing wrong with this hotel. Staff was very friendly and accommodating and I like the minimalist style. Bed and pillows were super comfy and the location is perfect. A very good shopping center right across the street and with an airport shuttle it’s everything you need right there. I can highly recommend it.
