I stayed here for the weekend of Columbus Day. We checked in and the hotel room looked fine. I went to use the bathroom and when I flushed the toilet the water literally squirted out of the toilet all over the floor. I called facilities to come fix it, which they did. We literally dropped our bags off and headed out. When it was time to go to bed I found two long pieces of hair on my pillow.. GROSS!!
I called to speak the the manager after we left. The front desk guest transferred me to the front desk manager. I left her a voicemail about my experience and she has YET to return my call. I always use aloft, i also stayed at the one in Raleigh, which the experience was great. On my voicemail I even said after this experience I probably wont ever stay at another Aloft again, guess they dont care since NO ONE has called me back....

I have been traveling to Lexington regularly for the past 8 weeks. I have had the chance to sample a vast array of area hotels. I try to find a decent rate along with short notice availability.
This was my first Aloft brand stay. I understand the vibe they wanted: Cool, urban, PRISON BLOCK ... you ROCKED it!
However, really not my thing.
The staff was all pleasant. The pool area looked nice and might tempt me during a winter trip.
As a business traveler, I was underwhelmed. We are minimalists by necessity due to airlines and the TSA. Might you actually provide shampoo AND conditioner like the Courtyard, Marriotts, Residence Inns .. etc? My hair was straw! Please fire the Man in purchasing that made this ghastly choice because no woman would purchase a combo.
The beds were worse than a college dorm room. A perk of hotels is awesome mattresses.. nope!
Please also add an Alcohol Free Beer selection to your bar. If you are looking for the Gen Y/Z traveler a growing now more than 20% are choosing not to drink.
Of the now 6 hotels I’ve stayed in this area since Sept 1st, this is my least favorite. When a coworker asked me my opinion, I replied, not impressed. They did nothing wrong just hate the vibe and the beds are horrid. She nodded and agreed with my assessment.
