Building and property location was great, right in walking distance of everything needed in our trip.
The layout of the hotel was odd. Main floor lobby was just a desk with a person that tells you to go upstairs to level 4 for the check-in desk. Level 4 was the front desk, a restaurant, a bar, and game room all in one. The atmosphere in this area was older parents with young children. Parents trying to stay cool. Nothing to do with the hotel, just annoys me.

I've been traveling to Greenville a lot recently and very happy with my recent stays at the Aloft. Location is terrific- lots of shops and restaurants right outside the door and a pleasant short walk to the falls. The actual lobby is on the 4th floor of the hotel- very upbeat and contemporary. Best of all- they host an adoption dog in the lobby-love that they do this. Staff super friendly and management handled a lost item quickly and fairly for me. Also- the parking- best deal I've found- $7/night. You self park but the garage is attached to the lobby.
