Considering a family vacation in Phuket? One of our favorite beachfront resorts is Aleenta Phuket Resort & Spa — especially since it’s just 25 minutes from the airport! The luxury, five-star resort offers a wide range of accommodations to suit any family’s needs; options even include five-bedroom Grand Villas! Some rooms also include private pools.
The Aleenta Phuket Resort & Spa offers two restaurants, a spa, and lots of activities and excursions for families, from cooking classes to whitewater rafting.
The Aleenta Phuket offers an all-inclusive package and a family package with special inclusions for children, as well.
The Aleenta’s sister resort, Akyra Beach Club, is just five minutes away. Both resorts share services and amenities.

We asked to be picked up at Phuket Airport and they did. It took 20mns to reach the resort. They drove us straight to the villa where we were to spend 6 nights there. It was a fabulous villa with 2 bedrooms on the ground level overlooking the pool and the beach/sea and 1 on top with its own terrasse. We loved it. There were 6 of us sharing this beautiful place. We walked on the beach to reach the breakfast place which was also great with lots to choose from. Very good service and great food. I would love to go back and spend another week there. The staff is very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The place is clean and simply beautiful.

We stayed at the Aleenta for 7 nights checking out 30th October. Our experience was wonderful. We were upgraded to a fantastic villa with a pool, and as it was a birthday, the hotel decorated the room and left cake for us. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. There is a free shuttle to the Sister hotel and you will find staff equally friendly. The beach bar at the Akyra is a great place to watch the sunset. There is happy hour a couple of times, mid day and early evening (sunset). The drinks and food are at the high end of the 5 star hotel prices and we opted for happy hour or the 5 bottles of Chang for 500 THB which is available at all times. The food at the hotel is fantastic and is a must as part of your stay. The breakfasts are top quality.
If you wish to look outside of the hotel, right opposite the Akyra there is the Co-Sea House which serves drinks and great food at a third of the price and the Meuk Dang is about 100 yards to the left and are both worth a visit.
The resort is quiet and relaxing with great potential to become an exclusive luxury resort as new hotels and villas are being developed and there is lots of land for sale. For us this is an encouraging factor for a return visit.
We can't fault our stay and would definitely return.
