Overview
by Phil Corless
Perched high on a hill between downtown Juneau and the airport, this huge cedar log house is divided into three self-contained suites and two standard rooms that share a bathroom, giving plenty of comfortable options for your family. The Wolf’s Lair Suite has the most amenities, including two bedrooms and a full kitchen. Guests have a choice between a two-course gourmet breakfast or a quick continental breakfast each morning. When kids tire of the amazing view from the deck, they can pick something from the lodge’s huge library of DVDs.
The Alaska Wolf Lodge is less than 2 miles from downtown Juneau, giving you easy access to restaurants, shops and museums, as well as a large number of boat tour companies that offer whale watching, sailing and glacier adventures. The famed Mendenhall Glacier is a 10-mile drive to the north. A central location and spacious rooms make this an easy choice for your family vacation to Juneau.
