My 17th time in Bali and decided to stay in Uluwatu this time around. My stay at Alamanda started off ok. Lovely lady called Mama is super sweet and the bed was comfy and the pool was nice, though super deep and wouldn't recommend for children).
However that's about it. There was no fridge in the villa and the only bin was a small waste basket next to the toilet. The bed was made each day, though no other cleaning occurred, resulting in me leaving *(3 days early of a week) to find alternative accommodation. elsewhere. There was a mosquito net on the bed, though the mozzies were intense (even with coils I brought with me and burning 24/7). Oh and no tv, dodgy sockets and no toiletries supplied and towels were never changed, I had to ask for a replacement. So needless to say, I wouldn't recommend it.

My son & I stayed in the rear Villa Alamanda 2. The configuration was great, 2 bedrooms on either side of the part open living room. Bedroom air-conditioning is a treat at night each bedroom with en-suite. The pool is a delight, the perfect relaxing place after enjoying the close-by eateries & shops.
