If you’re heading to/from the Nisqually entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park, stop off in tiny Elbe for a burger and homemade shake at Scale Burgers. You’ll see the white log-style burger shack from road. It offers outdoor seating only and operates from Memorial Day to Labor Day, but summer visitors will enjoy the iconic little eatery. Try the peanut butter or the peach shake.
