This local multi-generational Italian restaurant sits by the lake and next to the Leif Erikson Rose Garden. If you want, you can order your food to go for a garden picnic, but it’s also nice to have a sit-down meal and relax with the view. Salad lovers have almost a dozen to choose from, plus plates filled with their homemade ravioli, lasagna, a variety of pastas and pizzas, “mafia burgers,” walleye crab burgers, porketta and many hot sandwiches.
Besides lunch and dinners, they also serve breakfast items such as bruschetta with egg, ham and cheese and warm honey mascarpone. The honey mascarpone also is used as a sweet filling for their Italian-style French toast. Desserts range from eclairs and tiramisu to carrot mascarpone cake.
