We keep coming back to the Fireside because it's so comfortable and clean and you can't beat the fine views of the Pacific Ocean and the rocky shore.

We like the spacious rooms that are well-appointed with plenty of lighting, charging outlets, and lovely bed linens and pillows. We feel at home here as we gaze out at the ever-changing surf and watch the dog-walkers go by. We love dogs, but ours don't travel, so we enjoy seeing other people's dogs and occasionally, petting one.

Our only complaints are about the bitter room coffee and the sparse continental breakfast. For a hotel of this caliber, both should be much better.

Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and the quiet of our room for sleeping and relaxing. We appreciate the nice little touches, like the nightlight in the bathroom, and an extra blanket in the closet. We hated to leave!

We had an upstairs ocean view room that was just perfect. Room had all the necessary amenities that you could have, including the gas fireplace. The Pacific Coast trail runs through the property. If you want to hike on the beach...head north, not south on the trail. The check in was easy and very friendly. Highly recommend for a nights of multi night stay. Will stay here again on a return trip.
